A new report from Gamesindustry has indicated a significant decline in new game sales in the European market this year, with sales of new releases down 29% from last year.
Media personality Christopher Dring pointed out that this year did not have the same number of huge releases that we saw last year, such as Baldur's Gate 3, Diablo IV, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and other huge games, and he was surprised by the weak performance of games such as Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Star Wars Outlaws, despite the absence of a strong competitor.
