A new media report has stated that Ubisoft is suffering from huge debts due to its huge losses from its big games such as Star Wars: Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which achieved disappointing commercial performance. The report stated that Ubisoft could face the real risk of bankruptcy if Assassin's Creed Shadows fails to achieve the profits necessary to cover the operating costs of the company and its various branches. If it achieves lackluster success, Ubisoft may survive, but it will be forced to lay off many employees.
It is worth noting that this report is not the first of its kind, and there are many experts who point to the seriousness and fragility of Ubisoft's situation, and that a lot depends on the success of the upcoming Assassin's Creed game on February 14.
